In truth its only male platypus have the poison, it is non-lethal to anything bigger then a possum and even then there has only ever been 1 recorded incident of it being used in self defence (I'm an Australian so i need to know these things)

Oh! They guys on the stream asked me to make a Pirate Monk Platypus character. I forgot about the monk part... so I improvised, adding the beard and the Tao Symbol (plus a red dot on his forehead you can't really see because of the hat).

Just to point out, the original sin was greed not lust so the name "The Original Sin" doesn't really work unless your using this to make a reference to "Sin City" or if shes supposed to represent a snake (but even then it was Eve (a women) who was tricked by the serpent so unless there's yet another underlining theme of homosexuality then it still doesn't work).

Anyway on something other then the name the actual piece is Meh. The hair is to angular and doesn't look natural at all, the proportions of the eyes to the rest of the head is off, and a neon sign wouldn't give off a lens flare into a camera (but ill just put that down to artistic license).

The Original Sin is humanity's state of constant sin resultig from Adam and Eve's first disobedience to God. What you are referring to is the "Fall of man" (which is a consecuence of Eve's greed), which resulted into humanity being condemned by God to an everlasting sinful condition. Having said that, the name of the bar makes a double reference:

1) Humanity's sinful condition (which means, tendency to any kind of sin, not just greed.)
2) You don't have a reason to know this, but it's a reference to some succubi members of the club (and since Lilith was Adam's first woman AND the mother of Succubi, I saw the name fitting enough as a double reference).

Here ends the religious lesson... and I'm as atheist as fuck, mind you. I just like epic references and research them before using them.

And about your art observations... I'm sorry, but I don't agree xD It's your point of view, so you might do as you please, but I really belive you're appliying extrict realism rules to anime/manga style, one of the styles most known for leaving such details to the liking of the artist.

This is not impressionism, ya know buddy? xD
